DDB Dubai works were featured in Little Blue Book

DDB Dubai recently released two very creatively engaging radio campaigns to address two very pertinent issues the world faces today. Gender equality in the work force being the first. And cancer awareness being the second.

In Egypt women make up just 17% of the active workforce. In spite of having the same qualifications, women are half as likely to get hired. The radio spot titled The Interview demonstrated how women are weeded out of the employment process by cleverly using the left and right headphones to great effect. In the second radio campaign to raise awareness about treating the symptoms of cancer, it showed how procrastination is the real danger. The campaign titled Never Ignore The Signs the symptoms of cancers are compared to things straight out of life, that if left unchecked, could lead to something catastrophic. For example, a loose wheel nut, if left ignored, could lead to a fatal car crash. The spots are beautifully written and sublimely executed, down to the last detail.
